Mama Cash e’ un’associazione internazionale di donne, nata in Olanda nel 1983,
dedicata al finanziamento di progetti di e per le donne. Tra i suoi “temi”, anche i progetti artistici e culturali.
Dal suo sito: “Art, culture, and media can make important contributions to the advancement of women’s rights. Images can communicate faster and often more than words. Art forms of all kinds provide a stellar means to pose important questions and bring to the fore difficult issues.
Thus Mama Cash supports a street theaterpiece in Morocco about sexual violence, or a video clip in India that has spurred much local
discussion and awareness of women’s rights.”
